As our

Senior Software Engineer

, you won't just write code -- you'll architect systems that empower farmers, transform food supply chains, and bring radical transparency to what people eat.

What You'll Do

Own end-to-end systems

: Design, develop, and scale core platforms that power our internal ops, farmer network, and consumer-facing experiences

Build traceability tools

: Architect data-rich systems that track food from farm to fork

Develop customer-facing products

: Web apps, mobile tools, and dashboards for D2C, RTC kits, and meat traceability

Integrate IoT and AgriTech

: Work with sensors, smart devices, and analytics to digitize farms

Mentor junior engineers

: Guide and grow a team of developers and interns

Collaborate across functions

: Work with product, design, agri-ops, and content teams to launch impactful features

What You Bring

4+ years of experience building and shipping production-level web or mobile applications Strong in

JavaScript/TypeScript

,

React

,

Node.js

, or any modern backend framework Experience with

PostgreSQL, MongoDB

, or other scalable databases Comfort with

CI/CD

, version control, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture Ownership mindset - you're not just looking to write tickets, but build products Bonus: Experience with IoT, GIS, agritech, or supply chain systems

Nice to Have

Passion for food systems, sustainability, or agriculture Previous startup experience or exposure to zero-to-one product building Ability to speak/read
