Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable microservices using Ruby. Architect and implement RESTful APIs that are robust, secure, and performant. Integrate and manage Kafka for asynchronous communication between services. Write unit tests and API automation tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Contribute to technical design discussions and decisions. Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications

7-10 years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in Ruby and experience with Rails or similar frameworks. Proven experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Kafka as a messaging middleware. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices. Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec, Minitest). Experience with API automation testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
