This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in India.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software and data solutions within a collaborative, agile environment. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from database design and ETL development to implementing data-driven systems and client-specific software extensions. This position involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient solutions while providing mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers. You will also contribute to release management, application support, and the continuous improvement of development processes, helping to drive impactful results across projects. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings and workflows using Qlik or Informatica.
• Create technical specifications for data loading rules and software requirements.
• Develop and implement software products and extensions tailored to client needs.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and peers.
• Support technical consulting activities, particularly in clinical trials and pharmaceutical projects.
• Participate in software release management using version control tools such as SVN and execute live deployments.
• Analyze data requirements, design database structures, and ensure data quality in data warehouses.
• Design system interfaces, translate logical designs into physical solutions, and produce required documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure solution performance and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Math, Science, Engineering, Computing) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in systems integration, software development, or related disciplines.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure components including Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services, and Synapse.
• Hands-on experience with ETL solutions, Qlik Replicate, Compose, Informatica Data Quality, and testing with Informatica DVO.
• Strong database development skills and experience with large datasets in Azure SQL, Synapse, or Databricks environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture modeling tools, frameworks, and methodologies such as TOGAF, UML, BPMN, and ArchiMate.
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling techniques (Kimball), and experience designing and architecting data warehouses and ETL systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, result-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies and authoring technical documentation.
