About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated

Senior Software Engineer - Quality

to join our engineering team in Pune. This is a hands-on role focused on building robust test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and driving quality engineering practices across the team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation, API testing, CI/CD, and DevOps, with proficiency in modern testing tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using

Karate, Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, and AI-based testing tools.

Perform API testing, contract testing, and end-to-end service validation to ensure system reliability.

Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to drive in-sprint automation and shift-left testing practices.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for continuous integration and deployment.

Participate in test strategy design, planning, and execution for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation scripts and frameworks for performance and scalability.

Stay updated with the latest tools, frameworks, and methodologies in test automation and DevOps.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering / Test Automation.

Strong hands-on expertise with Karate, Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured.

Experience in API testing, contract testing, and end-to-end validation.

Proficiency in Java (preferred) for automation and scripting.

Practical knowledge of CI/CD & DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.

Experience implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks in an Agile environment.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
