clypd is expanding its presence in Pune and you have an opportunity to join our growing product engineering team. We are looking for a talented software engineer to immediately contribute to our platform. You will use modern tools and techniques to build rock-solid code for optimizing TV ad buys toward advanced targets and revolutionizing how TV inventory is bought and sold. We believe in quickly delivering working software to our customers that we iterate and improve on over time.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with team members to design and build new features. As a senior you will be involved in designing features and leading them a lot
• Technically mentoring juniors
• Maintaining existing features by fixing defects and refactoring old code
• Building secure, scalable, and maintainable software
• Participating in the full software lifecycle, from initial requirements through QA and monitoring
• Contributing towards internal discussions on technologies, products, and processes

Must haves:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7-10 years of full-time experience
• At least 4 years of experience in a product company involving software design and coding that demonstrates strong CS fundamentals
• Working knowledge of a few areas of our technology stack (see below)
• Experience working within team structures for code review, source code management, continuous integration, and automated deployments
• Strong communication skills, from written documents (such as design documents) to verbal discussions (like design reviews)
• Understand the value of rapid iteration and retrospection for engineering processes
• Eagerness to learn new technologies

• Exposure to cloud environments
• Familiarity working with remote teammates
