THE POSITION : Reporting to the Manager of DevOps Enablement Services, the Senior Software Engineer will work in a team to design and code custom-build solutions based on Enterprise Java Spring Boot technologies and related frameworks. Write and execute unit tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets requirements. Integrate technical and application components. Key areas of impact this role provides development and support to our Asclepius Product (a product that supports the Automation First vision). The candidate will work closely with the IT operations team to help automate their tasks like VM provisioning, Certificate rotation, Network automation, etc. The ideal candidate will foster a Product & collaborative environment by leaning on an extensive background in several types of engineering including Software, Systems, Networks, Security, Cloud (Public/Private/Community/Hybrid), Automation, and Development Operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by: Min. 3+ years of live project experience in implementing Java, Spring Boot & Java technologies Bachelor\'s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience. Experience in API design and Implementation (REST) Experience working with Microservices Architecture Will be handling code reviews, approving PR, Merge requests, etc. Hands-on experience on Spring core and Spring JPA Experienced in using GIT, CI-CD, and Maven Experience working with document databases Familiar with the Agile delivery process, must be analytical and self-motivated Work Effectively within a global team environment Good written, and verbal communication and documentation skills Understanding of event-driven design Working in compliance with the full Software Development Life Cycle Connecting microservices to interact with databases Ensure adequate test cases are written to satisfy design requirements Identifying and finding solutions to bugs Create well-written documentation for the individual microservices patterns Setting clear direction, effective plans, and measurable outcomes Ensuring work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes, and other resources Plans, organizes and coordinates various projects, programs, and services. Education Any Graduate or Computer Engineering Course Experience and/or Training Java, Spring boot, Azure DevOps Licenses/Certificates Technology/Equipment Azure DevOps, VCS, Java, Spring Boot PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, JS, CSS, Angular, etc).
