Opportunity In summary, SAP EM Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP EM solutions to enable real-time tracking and monitoring of events and processes in the supply chain. They work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and other technical teams to deliver effective and efficient solutions that meet business requirements SAP EM (Event Management) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP EM solutions within our organization. This includes: . Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to understand business requirements and design SAP EM solutions that meet those requirements. This involves analysing business processes, identifying key events to be tracked, and defining the necessary data models and integration points. . Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of SAP EM solutions to ensure their reliability, accuracy, and performance. Identify and resolve any defects or issues encountered during testing or production usage. . Solution Design: Customize SAP EM functionalities to align with specific business processes and requirements. This may involve creating custom event types, configuring event-based actions, and extending the standard SAP EM functionality using SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) or other programming languages. . Development: Develop and configure SAP EM components, including event handlers, rules, alerts, workflows, and user interfaces. This may involve working with SAP NetWeaver Process Integration/ Process Orchestration (PI/PO). . Customization: Customize SAP EM functionalities to align with specific business processes and requirements. . Integration: Integrate SAP EM with other SAP modules or external systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or third-party logistics providers. This includes designing and implementing interfaces, data mappings, and message flows. . 6 - 10 years of core SAP EM (Event Management) development experience. Implementation experience in SAP TM (Advance Transport Management) or core SAP would be added advantage. . Bachelor or Master degree or equal by experience . Expertise on SAP Event Management Framework. . Expertise on coding standards to handle complex business logic. . Experienced in developing solutions in in at least one of the modules - FI / MM / SD of SAP with experience on S/4 HANA and ECC systems . Experience in around 2-3 Full Lifecycle SAP Implementation project or equivalent project phases . Good experience in designing and developing interfaces using ALE/IDoc\'s, Flat Files, RFC\'s, BAPI\'s . Good experience in Classical/ALV/Interactive Reports, Workflows, SmartForms/ADOBE forms/SAPScripts, Dialog Programs and BDC programs . Good experience in consuming or exposing web services (i.e. SOAP, REST) . Should have worked with BADI\'s, BTE\'s and Enhancement Framework . Exposure in developing OData Services using SAP NetWeaver Gateway, ABAP CDS views. . Knowledge of AMDP class developments, ALV IDA & ADBC concepts, BRF+, ABAP Objects, BOPF programming model is advantageous . Knowledge of RESTful ABAP programming model and experience in development on HANA based SAP Products like S4HANA / PO is a desired skill. . Knowledge on Upgrade projects/Support Pack applications and SPAU resolution/OSS note applications . Experience in development and troubleshooting large scale custom Web-Dynpro, FIORI based Applications and usage of WebIDE / Eclipse based development experience is desirable . Actively pursuing continuous learning to constantly update skills and keep abreast of current developments in the industry . Interest in using AI frameworks in enhancing Execution Information predictability is desirable.
