What you'll do:

Work with an open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.

Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products.

Build reusable Android software components for the platform.

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Work on bug fixing to improve application performance and shipping new features as required.

What makes you a great fit:

Conversant on the modern Android programming paradigm, including the use of Kotlin, Java, RxJava, MVVM, etc and writing unit and functional tests and TDD.

Have published one or more applications in an Android marketplace.

Good understanding of large and complex code bases with Strong computer science fundamentals.

Basic understanding of mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Experience and understanding of performance tuning for android apps while working in an agile environment
