Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Node.js Senior Software Engineer (SSE)

to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in

Node.js

, experience in building scalable backend services, and strong leadership skills to guide a team toward clean, modular, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain reliable backend APIs and services using

Node.js, Express/NestJS

. Design scalable server-side solutions with a focus on performance and security. Enforce best practices via code reviews and architectural guidance. Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams across the development lifecycle. Own technical documentation, API management, and system optimization. Ensure compliance with security standards and system reliability. Support recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of backend development, with 3+ years in

Node.js

. Strong proficiency in

JavaScript (ES6+), async programming, event-driven patterns

. Hands-on with

REST APIs, WebSockets, microservices

. Experience with

MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

. Familiar with

unit testing & TDD

practices. Strong experience in

Docker, CI/CD pipelines

. Knowledge of

RabbitMQ, Kafka

, or other message queues. Proficient with

Git & Agile methodologies

.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

AWS Lambda, GCP, or Azure serverless/cloud-native development

.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
