Job Description

The Role:

In this role, you will collaborate with the team lead, Scrum Master, business analysts, QA, and other developers to build technology solutions for Morningstar data services offering. You will need to develop a good understanding of the existing systems and the data model. The team is looking for forward-thinking problem solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can learn new technologies quickly as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the software code base.
• Help implement software solutions that meet requirements and quality needs.
• Reinforce good development practices like test driven development, continuous integration, innovative frameworks, and technology solutions that help business move faster.
• Develop areas of continuous and automated deployment.

Requirements:

• Completed bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering.
• 6 - 8 years of experience developing software solutions
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies including JSON/XML, RESTful
• Hands-on design/development experience with .Net core and AWS services
• Proven Design and architecting skills and experienced in designing high performing, configurable, scalable services/APIs.
• Hands on experience with SQL/Advanced SQL
• AWS knowledge/experience of working on AWS development & design experience.
• Expertise with DevOps tools

Technologies:

• Microsoft Stack: .NET development, Entity framework concepts, Web API and MVC expertise, C#, SQL Server(strong sql concepts), AWS services\xe2\x80\x99
• Good to have: Python
