Responsibilities:

Reporting relationship:

This role will report to Delivery Manager / Senior Delivery Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Senior Engineer role is responsible for design,develop, testing and maintaining the application/s with established processes. Mainframe skill -COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, Automation mindset Develop and maintain technical designs based on requirements Develop application code for programs while following coding standards Develop and execute unit tests Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project Support application testing and resolve test defects Report status updates as required by the project Follow established project execution processes Get actively involved in Training, self-development & knowledge sharing Work independently on Projects Be an expert / SME on multiple applications/functionality (in a support area) to provide required support to the business users. Ability to learn new technology and migration projects.

Education

: GraduateBachelors degree (any stream)

Skill set:

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, good documentation skills, strong communications and inter-personal skills, good time management skills. Good aptitude, positive attitude.Must be a good team player. Good learnability and quick grasping, stretch mindset, ability to train junior team members

Other

:
Expertize in multiple applications/functionalities, Domain skills and inclination to learn it quickly, good SQL knowledge and understanding of database. Familiarity with MS office and SharePoint, High aptitude, excellent problem solving and analytical skills, Interpersonal and influencing stakeholders
