Job Description

OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer/System Administrator with a strong foundation in Linux system administration and hands-on expertise in DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing version control systems, and supporting deployment and configuration processes across various environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Linux & System Administration
Manage Linux servers, user accounts, and file permissions.
Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system tasks.
Troubleshoot network issues and manage system-level firewalls, DNS, and IP configurations.
Version Control Systems
Manage Git repositories using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Handle branching, merging, pull requests, and code reviews efficiently.
CI/CD Pipelines
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Automate testing, build, and deployment processes to support rapid development cycles.
Configuration Management
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
Containerization & Orchestration
Create and manage Docker containers, images, volumes, and networks.
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable container orchestration.
Cloud Platform Expertise
Operate and deploy infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
Use core services like EC2/VMs, VPC/Networking, S3/Blob Storage effectively.
