Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our DIA Biopharma team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on enterprise-grade applications, modern front-end solutions, and AI-driven platforms that are part of our upcoming DIA initiatives. The team consists of 15+ members and reports to the Manager. We have a strong skill set in Angular (14+), Java (17+), Spring Boot, and scalable distributed systems, and we would love to speak with you if you have expertise in full-stack development, AI-enabled applications, or advanced data visualization.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Strong initiative, analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and sense of ownership when working on complex software projects. 4+ years of professional experience in software development of distributed systems. At least 3 years of senior-level experience with front-end development using Angular (14+). Strong programming expertise in Java (17+), Spring Boot/Spring MVC, with proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SASS, Flexbox, Grid) and modern UI tooling (Node.js, npm, yarn, webpack, bash). Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL/Postgres) and charting libraries (Highcharts). Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

It would be great if you also had

Knowledge of AI tools or frameworks (e.g., ML libraries, AI-driven analytics, or GenAI APIs). Exposure to Linux and Shell scripting. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployments (AWS preferred). Experience with microservices development. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across teams.

What will you be doing in this role?

Feature Development: Design and develop product features aligned with business priorities and technical requirements. UI Development: Build modern, responsive, and scalable user interfaces for Rich Internet Applications using Angular (14+). Collaboration: Partner with UX teams to create intuitive UIs that simplify complex workflows and enhance discoverability. Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and write comprehensive unit and integration tests. Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating across teams to propose effective solutions. API & Backend Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot. Stakeholder Interaction: Work with product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and deliver timely fixes. Technical Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of one or more development features/modules. Agile Contribution: Contribute actively as part of an Agile/Scrum team, participating in sprints, retrospectives, and rapid prototyping.

Product you will be developing

You will be working on enterprise-grade, scalable applications that combine modern Angular-based user interfaces with powerful Java/Spring Boot back-end services. These applications support data-rich dashboards, reporting, and interactive visualizations powered by charting libraries such as Highcharts. The solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly with databases (MySQL/Postgres), RESTful APIs, and AI-driven capabilities, delivering a responsive and intuitive user experience for global enterprise customers.

About the Team

You will be joining a highly collaborative engineering team that is responsible for building and scaling enterprise-grade applications used by global customers. The team works with a modern tech stack including Angular (14+), Java 17, Spring Boot, MySQL/Postgres, REST APIs, Highcharts, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.


The team consists of front-end and back-end engineers, QA specialists, UX designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, working together in an Agile/Scrum environment. We partner closely with internal stakeholders such as product management, UX, and customer success teams, as well as external stakeholders including clients and integration partners.


This is a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of features, contribute to system design, and collaborate with talented peers on impactful projects.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent role, with a commitment of 45 hours per week. The team follows a hybrid working model. Standard working hours are 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST, with flexibility to accommodate collaboration across global time zones when required.
