About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience in Designing, developing and maintaining Distributed streaming applications using

Java, J2EE, Spring frame works.

Design and develop custom solutions, plugins, and workflows within the Calypso platform Customize Calypso for various business modules: front office, middle-office or back-office functions Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications Integrate Calypso with internal and external systems. Maintain and enhance Calypso configuration (products, workflows, engines, messaging, and reports) Work closely with QA teams to support testing and validation Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support for Calypso environments Participate in upgrades, patching, and system performance tuning Good knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Unix, Linux, Shell scripts, batch scripts Understanding of CICD tools like Jenkins and Udeploy Knowledge of Calypso upgrade process Strong knowledge of capital markets products: FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit Derivatives, Repos, OTC Derivatives will be added advantage. Good to have: OpenShift, Kafka, Kubernetes, Automation frameworks

Job Expectations:

Good knowledge and exposure of

front to back trade life cycle events

for Fixed income Trading

and primarily on Asset backed finance. Good Communication and presentation skills Manage multiple Jira items and ownership of post-production delivery. Drive and own story/feature with all SDLC processes.
