This req is raised for Senior Progress Developer position in WorldStrides Project.



Required Skills and Experience:



Progress 4GL Expertise: Strong proficiency in Progress programming, including experience with OpenEdge AppServer, database concepts, and transaction scoping.

Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational database concepts, indexing, and record locking.

Coding Best Practices: Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to participate in various phases of development.

Knowledge of Web Services and XML: Ability to implement and work with web services and XML parsing.
