We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team!

This is an exciting time to join our group and work on something highly strategic to Microsoft. Microsoft Dataverse is the platform to securely store an enormous amount of data in a cost efficient, scalable and easily manageable way. This team builds a suite of microservices to get near real-time insights over your data in Microsoft Power Pages. You will be a part of a team of engineers who thrive on solving complex problems at scale while doing it with impeccable quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Experience with building Web Applications with front-end technologies like TypeScript, Angular, React/Redux. Good understanding of DevOps

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:


This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Innovate and build the next generation of professional developer tools using AI technologies. Be part of delivering world class user experience by contributing to its design and evolution. Investigate and prototype new technologies and frameworks. Have ownership for engineering design, implementation and delivery of backlog driven features. Collaborate across the company to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences. Focus on providing a trouble-free experience for users by ensuring availability, latency, scalability needs are addressed as part of software development. Provide strong technical leadership within the organization.
