Key Responsibilities

Participate in requirement analysis, design, coding, and testing (unit and integration, manual and automated). Understand and learn architecture and design of existing applications developed using Java and microservices. Take ownership of assigned tasks related to new feature design, implementation, bug fixes, and enhancements. Engage in technical communication with internal/external stakeholders and collaborate with global teams. Contribute to code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and maintain high-quality deliverables. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when required.

Work Experience

Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in design and development of Java-based applications. Strong programming skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and experience implementing them in Java. Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and service-to-service communication. Experience with Jenkins or similar tools for CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance. Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and test automation practices. Strong experience in developing Linux/Unix-based applications using Core Java. Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and web technology stack. Experience working with Agile methodology and tools like Jira/Rally. Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is an added advantage. Experience in healthcare domain (Medical Devices, Imaging Platforms) and familiarity with DICOM standard is a plus.
