We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platforms Team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge Singularity Projects and drive innovation. The team consists of 8 people and reports to the Senior Director. We have a great skill set in JAVA, Spring boot, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Angular, NodeJS and AWS related technologies and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in JAVA, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and AWS.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

2+ years of professional experience in software development, primarily focused on backend systems. Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust solutions. Hands-on expertise in Java, including Spring Boot and related frameworks. Practical experience in Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and basic AWS functionalities. Proficient in Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA, OOD, OOP) principles. Experience across software development lifecycle--from design and coding to testing and deployment. Self-driven and proactive, with excellent collaboration skills. Driven by a passion for technology and committed to continuous learning, with a focus on modern frameworks and best practices.

What will you be doing in this role?

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features within project timelines. Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing to performance and reliability improvements. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainability and security. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and introducing innovative solutions.

Product you will be developing

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing core APIs, including the Singularity API. Your work will involve technical upgrades, performance optimization, and exploring AI-driven proof of concepts (POCs) to bring innovation into the product.
