The Software Development Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and rollout of software solutions for the Healthcare IT industry. The Software Developer role will use creativity and problem-solving skills to translate Product Owner requests into industry-leading features while working with the latest technologies and within a cross-functional, highly skilled agile development team.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with other Software Developers and technical leaders to analyze requirements and create technical designs

Analyzes, designs, develops, and delivers programs in one or more programming languages, for a specific assigned software system or systems.

Build and support a product through the entire life cycle of analysis, design, coding, testing and support

Design, implement and support high quality and innovative software solutions that exceed customer expectations

Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record building high quality, scalable applications.

Candidates must be creative, organized, and analytical as well as adept at working in a team environment.

Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience

5+ years developing web applications utilizing Java 11

3+ years hands on experience with database technologies (SQL Server, MongoDB)

Strong working knowledge and experience with MongoDB

Ability to determine root cause analysis and resolution of complex performance/stability related issues

Ability to work with peers in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment

Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

Strong listening, detail-oriented thinking, and creative problem-solving skills

Experience working within an Agile/Scrum Environment

Healthcare industry experience is desired
