Our software measures and models the global internet. It also directs traffic for our distributed network of servers. This software allows us to manage our customers\' Internet information flows with industry-leading performance and reliability. Create a world-class internet user experience As part of our team, you will create the best end-user experience online for our client\'s clients. It is a highly critical multi-layered role. You are responsible to create rich web and system applications. These applications manages the Akamai Cloud Load Balancing System Configurations (both self-service and integrated) As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Developing mission critical web applications Converting HLD specifications into LLDs and implementing applications to configure Akamai\'s Global Load Balancing Systems Assisting in making design decisions based on performance, scalability, security, and future expansion Collaborating with other engineering teams to identify system dependencies and complete implementations under strict product release schedules Communicating and collaborating with management, product, QA teams Creating powerful yet user-friendly interfaces using latest Software Stacks. Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 5 years experience in Web Application development and a bachelors degree in CS or related field. Demonstrate good experience in Python and Javascript Have experience on any one of the Python frameworks FastAPI, Flask or Django Have good expertise in front end frameworks like React/Angular/VueJS Have experience in developing web applications, micro-services in a Docker/Container Environment.
