Role Profile

The Sustainable Investment Data Mastering is a web-based solution based on Angular, Java and MSSQL technologies consisting of various modules. The application supports data capture, reporting and analytical capabilities. The Sustainable Investment Data platform is built to include data collection and operational activities to support existing and new index products. The SI platform is being modernized and improved to meet the growing demand for the product.

Role Description:

We are looking for a full stack developer with a strong programming experience who will play an integral role in the ongoing application & data analysis, design, development, integration, improvements, and maintenance of the platform which will span a broad range of UI, data, and backend functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to rapidly build, test, and deploy code

Participate in and contribute towards code reviews, bug/issue triage, and documentation

Develop scalable, reusable software components in line with architectural standards.

Develop module-based user interfaces of high quality

Implement automated test \xe2\x80\x93 unit and integration tests for continuous integration and maintenance

Responsible for solving problems and application support issues

Responsible for ensuring non-functional requirements (such as performance, auditing, security, support) are considered during development.

Responsible for technical analysis and producing documentation.

Participate in agile ceremonies: Sprint planning, Scrum, Sprint demo, retrospectives etc.

Work Experience:

8+ years of commercial experience in Software development

Knowledge and practical application of Design Patterns and Practices

Solid experience with SQL Server, with tables, views, stored procedures. Ability to performance tune the queries, views, and procs.

Experience with front-end performance/rendering optimisation

Solid experience with DI and TDD

Experience with performance improvement and memory management

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Knowledge of AWS Cloud platform

Technical Skills:

Angular

Java

REST API (Open API/Swagger)

SQL Server

TypeScript

JavaScript and jQuery

HTML5, CSS and CSS pre-processors (LESS, SASS etc.), responsive design

Git

Education:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, or IT related field or equivalent IT related experience

Non-Technical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d demeanour

Attention to details

Good interpersonal skills with a key ability to work with an Agile team and display collaboration
