The Senior Software Engineer - DevOps for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for design, implement and maintain the DevOps infrastructure for our Global teams.
This position is part of the Clinical Chemistry & Immuno Assay (CCIA) Business Unit of Beckman Coulter in Bangalore and will be functioning on hybrid mode of operation. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Own software build, continuous integration, verification, deployment and release processes for next-generation console software
Create and maintain build, integration and verification pipelines
Collaborate with team and maintain the continuous integration pipeline always green
Own virtual machine creation, versioning, deployment, state management and cost-optimization
Own build and deployment tools
Define and enforce branch management strategies
Support software lifecycle metrics computation and publication
Analyze, suggest and implement improvements to our DevOps processes
Mentor and guide engineers in the team
The essential requirements of the job include:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or adjacent field with 4 + years of industry experience working in DevOps using Microsoft technologies (TFS / Azure DevOps / MSBuild / MSTest) including 2+ years of software development experience working with C# .Net
Excellent Powershell scripting hands on knowledge and debugging skills & knowledge of OOPs programming language like C# or Python is required with in-depth hands-on experience with Git usage and administration, YAML, JSON
Pipeline troubleshooting and analysis & Experience with Azure DevOps portal administration, work-item management, work item template customizations, project dashboard, backlog and query management
Basic knowledge of test automation and management at different levels - unit, integration and functional UI testing
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Nice to have: Experience with reporting tools like PowerBI, experience with scaled agile
