The Lead Software Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the design, code and test software components. In this role you will participate in reviews and inspections for all elements in the software lifecycle to ensure that our software quality and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. You will participate in all elements of the software life cycle and be part of a Scrum Team In this role you will report directly to local Software Development Manager in Bangalore who is part of the DxA-Software Management Team. This position is part of the Danaher India Development Center (IDC), located in Bangalore and will be hybrid. IDC is a start of the art Research and Development Center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. You will be a part of the IDC team and report to the Software Development Manager responsible for working on development of software and hardware components of cutting-edge products. The teams consist of high performing software & hardware engineers and development managers and are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Translate requirements into software design Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO Create architecture, design, code and unit test modules/components Participate in design, code and test reviews and inspections, ensuring application of software engineering best practices, as well as the feasibility, efficacy and compliance to functional and regulatory standards Work closely with the software development and software verification teams Investigate software, hardware, and system problems using a variety of techniques and provides innovative solutions The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field Development experience with Visual C# Profund Experience in .NET / .NET Core and Multithreading Experience in agile Software Development Experience with OOA/OOD development methodologies, UML tools and design patterns. Experience with Visual Studio 2017 or higher Experience in agile Software Development Familiarity with software lifecycle (requirements, design, code, test) Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbal Familiarity with software development processes for a regulated environment (I SO13845 and ISO62304) It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Experience in the field of laboratory automation / robotics and control theory Experience with Azure DevOps for managing the work.
