Job Description

The Azure AD B2C (ADB2C) Administrator is responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting Azure Active Directory B2C solutions to manage secure customer identity and access management. The role ensures seamless authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management for customer-facing applications while maintaining security and compliance.
Azure AD Administration & Configuration

• Configure and manage Azure AD administration.

• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms for customer-facing applications.

• Manage identity lifecycle activities including user provisioning, profile management, and access controls.

• The Azure AD Administrator will own identity platform operations using DevSecOps practices, ensuring secure, automated, and auditable management of Azure AD / Entra ID and Azure AD across multiple environments.

Authentication & Identity Federation

• Configure identity providers such as Azure AD, Google and other social or enterprise identity providers.

• Integrate Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity logs with the enterprise SIEM

• Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access policies.

• Support SSO integrations with internal and external applications.

Custom Policies & User Experience

• Develop and maintain custom policies using XML for advanced user journeys.

• Customize UI templates, branding, and localization for sign-in and sign-up experiences.

• Troubleshoot issues related to user flows, policies, and authentication failures.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure secure configuration of Azure AD aligned with security best practices.

• Align identity monitoring with Zero Trust and least-privilege principles

• Monitor identity-related risks and suspicious activities.

• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy requirements.

Monitoring, Logging & Troubleshooting

• Monitor Azure AD logs and audit trails.

• Investigate and resolve authentication, authorization, and access issues.

• Support incident response and root cause analysis related to identity services.

Integration & Collaboration

• Work closely with application developers to integrate AD with web and mobile applications.

• Integrate Azure AD with applications using OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect / SAML/ JWT tokens.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release planning.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain IAM documentation, standards, and operating procedures.

• Stay updated with Azure AD enhancements and identity management best practices.

• Recommend improvements to enhance security, performance, and user experience.

Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field.
Certification:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate

• Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

• Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

• Hashi Corp Certified: Terraform Associate

Years of Exp: Minimum 2 years of experience
Job Specific Skills:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

• IAM / Identity Governance Certification (preferred).

• ITIL Foundation (added advantage).

Skills Required
