About Team

The Admin Tech (aka AT) team focuses on building application, services & platform for Providence spanning across various technical stacks and supporting multiple business process for both Clinical and Non-Clinical Services.

We are a group of passionate product managers, engineers, SREs focused on developing platform, services for transforming experience of Caregivers and enabling Caregivers to give better experience to patients.

What will you be responsible for?

The ideal candidate will contribute to building AT platform covering all layers (frontend, middle tier, backend as well as reporting stack) & writing scripts for data integration and analysis. Candidate should be highly collaborative, capable of enabling partnership channel to create an effective cross team working model and have a strong drive for high quality and engineering excellence focus

• Produce scalable, replicable code and engineering solutions that help automate repetitive management task
• Code, Test, Deployment, Support of his/ her feature to be driven based on architecture parameters like Performance, Security, Reliability, Scalability and Configurability
• Should have an expertise in writing unit cases, working on test automation whenever required for the project/team
• Practice TDD (Test Driven Development) ensuring the code is covered by unit and integration tests, and continually improving the testability of the products and working on identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with the manager at project level
• Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability, debugging, and shipping.
• Ensuring that all programs are delivered with agreed upon business value, on time and highest quality
• Collaborate with rest of the team to drive decision making and roadmaps with focus on outcomes
• Simplifying complex problems/ systems and excellent debugging skills
• Practice Reusing/ Sharing the code across different components
• Ensuring that all features embody engineering best practices, efficient, scalable architecture, elegant design and high-quality implementation

What would your day look like?

• Closely work with team on the delivery & execution while continuously aligning to the Engineering Process
• Partner with Engineering Manager, TPMs Leaders to build the roadmap for the program.
• Partner with Service Engineering and Product Management team for Quality of Service
• Partner with Global Engineering teams on shared goals and focus on the outcomes with a collaborative mindset
• Collaboration with US Team. This will include a one - two hours overlap with the global team in US (PST Time) based on project needs (Sprint ceremonies, Daily standup and for any requirement clarification calls)

Who are we looking for?

• 3-7 years of experience in technical roles, solid shipping experience
• Hands on Experience with objected-oriented design and software engineering principles.
• Good working knowledge of coding and enterprise architectural design patterns.
• 3+ years of experience of building Web Applications with JavaScript (incl. React, Angular, or Vue), XHTML/HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap
• Ability to able to build the SPAs with the responsive design.
• 4+ years of software development experience with proficiency in .Net Framework/ .Net Core
• Fluent in Microsoft tech stack including C#, ASP.NET MVC, WEB API, .Net CORE, SQL SERVER, SQL AZURE and DEVOPS
• Good exposure to Unit testing frameworks using VSTS Tools, Third party tools like NUnit and xUnit.Net.
• Strong experience in ADO - DevOps in handling the complete application development to deployment cycle using repos, CI/CD pipeline.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Integrating the QA Automated runs onto the DevOps pipeline will be a plus.
• Knowledge on cloud development and micro-services serverless functions is a plus.
• An understanding of Azure Cloud Services and prior experience is a plus
• Prior Experience with Entity Framework, NServiceBus, Azure App Insights, and Azure Application Monitoring will be a plus.
• Good to have the knowledge on micro front end architectures
• Great problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communicator, capable of building and maintaining relationships with various teams.
• BS/BTECH or MS/MTECH in Computer Science or equivalent
