This role requires a self-driven candidate with good communication skills besides the standard reporting skills as part of Power BI. This requires direct customer interaction with some senior business associates from Microsoft at onsite as well as with senior delivery teams at Microsoft. Pls note, this is an ask to replace an existing associate from a different vendor who is not performing upto mark and hence the urgency to immediately onboard someone. Experiences in Power BI development projects - BI report development in Data warehousing. - Experiences in BI and Visualization Technology (Tableau, Power BI) - Experiences with Visualization report development and dashboards using Power BI. - Hands on SSRS, Microsoft SQL Server, Data Modelling, SQL/PL and Oracle etc. - Data Visualization tools (Tableau strongly preferred) - Hands-on experience with report development (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau) - Hands-on coding with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server - Advanced T-SQL programming skill - Demonstrated ability to turn technical requirements into designs - Strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and OLAP concepts - Strong written/verbal communication, ability to converse directly with business to gather requirements Job description Qualification: BCA/BSE/B.Tech Experience: 7-10years. Responsibilities: Well Versed on T-SQL Expert in Stored Procedure and Query Language programming SQL Reporting Services/Report Builder SQL Performance Profiling (both indexing and performance optimization of large datasets Advanced database troubleshooting Should work on performance Tuning Design database for new modules Identify loop holes in existing DB architecture and provide resolution. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development. Evaluate and optimize existing database systems for performance efficiency Responsible for implementation and release of database changes according to agreed timescales and costs Utilize and Build Known Error Database for issues where root cause is available or if the root cause is already established. Must have worked on Log shipping, Replication, DB Mirroring, Migration, performance tuning, Indexing, Cluster environment and DTS / SSIS. Ability to utilize various tools to provide system management functions such as: system backup/recovery, code promotion, system monitoring, DB comparison. Skill sets: Strong proficiency with MS SQL SERVER 2008-2017. Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statement. Should be able to meet SLAs as per the priorities. Should be able to assist technical development teams in advising them to implement best database usage practices. Should maintain Documentation as per the Industry Standards. Strong communications skills and ability to document and present complex designs to a wider audience. DB Design Knowledge NoSql knowledge would be a plus What You Need for this Position You should have knowledge of: MS SQL SERVER 2008-2017 SQL Reporting Services/Report Builder.
