OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our growing data team. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring data reliability, scalability, and accessibility for our data science and analytics teams. You will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines that power our business decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data documentation and data lineage.
• Automate data processes and infrastructure using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MSSQL,PostgreSQL, MySQL etc).
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Data Factory).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
• Understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
• Experience with data modeling and schema design.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in working with DataBricks
• Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
