Develop specialized Software components for the Symphony Platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop the next generation User Management, Authentication and Authorization components of the VNOC Symphony platform
Acquire an in-depth knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP and have participated in the design and implementation of Cloud Based Single Sign-on
Ensure sustainability for the current Symphony Platform
Collaborate with other team members to develop the next generation of the platform
Assist and contribute to the Quality Assurance and Testing of the Platform
Participate in the design and architecture meetings for the next generation Platform
Troubleshoot platform production issues and defects
Work with Source Control, Defect Tracking and Automated Build Systems

Ability to diagnose complex system problems
Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of platform development
Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills
Education and/or Experience
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
Minimum 6 years' experience with Open Source and Microsoft Directory Service Technologies
2 years' experience with Single-Sign On and/or equivalent technologies
Demonstrated experience with Java, C# and Open Source Development Frameworks and Facilities
Demonstrated experience with Active Directory/LDAP
