• Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.
• Determines systems software design requirements.
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generate systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
• Provide support for Linux laptops. Like issues with VPN connectivity, Identity management, User administration and installation of Ubuntu images.
• Setting up of new Linux as well as Windows laptops.
• Documentation (Confluence/SharePoint) for all the troubleshooting of frequent issues.
• Maintain hardware inventory, and work with cross functional teams/vendors for the maintenance of the hardware.

• Apply (Linux/Windows) OS and other SW Patches on periodic basis.
• Quickly arrange repair for hardware in occasion of hardware failure (for non-IT assets)
• Participate in following security activities

• Vulnerability Scanning (One time, recurring)
• Vulnerability Monitoring

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in software/Electronics Engineering or equivalent degree.
• Overall 3+ years of hands-on experience involving software and hardware platforms
• Experience in managing following platforms/machines to ensure anytime availability of Lab environment: -Hyper VX, VMWare and other virtualization software packages Windows - managing AD, OS and servers for the Product Security Lab-Linus machines Lab network management and upgradation

• Strong experience in Cloud Infra: Design and Implement best practices for backups and whole infra.
