Job Requisition ID #25WD87065Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Senior Software Engineer Full Stack to join our Fusion Operations team. We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about delivering innovative solutions aimed at providing a device-independent experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of software development for desktop and web applications. Fusion Operations is a manufacturing execution system (MES) that provides real-time data for production management. It enables users to monitor, track, report, and control the various processes and systems used to manufacture goods, from raw materials to shipping.ResponsibilitiesPlan production schedules to enhance the flexibility of job schedulingTrack inventory, monitor workers, and oversee machines to help optimize overall production efficiencyManage product quality through production traceability to align with industry standards and regulationsLead the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the applicationProduce clean, effective, secure, maintainable, and well-documented codeCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelinesDevelop and maintain a real time and business critical software, with requirements for high performance, high availability and with frequent updatesPerform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvementsUtilize debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficientlyDevelop and maintain automated tests and increase overall code coverageLeverage cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3, SQS, and RDS, for scalable and reliable solutionsAct as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring the team's adherence to agile principlesMentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverablesParticipate in on-call rotation to support production systemsMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field6+ years of industry experience building and delivering robust, performant, and maintainable commercial applicationsStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principlesProficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystemsProficiency in frontend development such as JavaScript/HTML/CSSFamiliar with the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) and RESTful web servicesKnowledge of JVM (Java Virtual Machine), its drawbacks, weaknesses, and workaroundsSolid experience with MySQL databasesExperience with cloud platforms, particularly AWSExperience with DockerFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum frameworkExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.Preferred QualificationsMasters in Computer ScienceExperience in working with Java frameworks such as Play or SpringExperience in frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React or similarExperience with Elasticsearch or similarExperience with test automation tools (JUnit, Selenium, etc)Experience with build and CI/CD tools such as JenkinsUnderstanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, GradleExperience in driving teams and acting as a Scrum MasterSolid understanding of event-driven architecture principlesFamiliarity with CAD concepts related to Inventor, AutoCAD, Factory Design Utilities#LI-DP1Learn MoreAbout Autodesk
