Job Description

We are looking for a frontend developer to join our new and growing engineering team in APAC. The ideal candidate is an upbeat self-starter with strong work experience. This person will play a crucial role in the delivery of applications and services that empower our customers to achieve their mission. As a Frontend developer you will coordinate with multiple teams to craft and implement user interfaces for applications based on JAVA and related technologies. Candidate will work with backend developers to implement and maintain web applications and services that interact with Product, Content, Search and E-Commerce systems. Responsibilities:

• Work with a scrum team to implement, delivery and support applications.
• Agile software development practitioner: test driven development, continuous integration with other applications. Project delivery with different teams through AGILE approach.
• Understand and analyze business process and data models to understand requirement.
• Provide and document function relative high level and details design.
• Work collaboratively with Product owner, UI/UX designer, and Engineering as needed during the development, testing, launch and continuing refinement of products.
• Build efficient front-end systems that drive complex web applications, and write clean, fast, compatible, easy-to-use components.
• You should be able to program cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatible web pages.
• Staying up to date on the latest and best coding strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher. Computer Science, or relevant field.
• 5+ years front-end working experience.
• Build high-quality mockups and design different prototypes.
• Expert in HTML5/CSS/JavaScript.
• Expert in React/Angular.
• Knows of Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Design experience on mobile application is a plus.
• Experience on Agile.
• Stay on top of latest and emerging technologies.
• Good communication and knowledge sharing, strong listening and question-based skills; and be proactive to investigate/implement tasks or issues.
• Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) both in English.
