Sense is seeking a Senior or Lead Frontend Engineer to deliver our contractor communication platform to the world's best places to work.
As a Frontend Engineer at Sense, you'll be intimately involved with bringing features from idea to completion, and mentoring an incredibly talented group of peers.
You'll join a collaborative, fun team where everyone, including you, is active in the product defining and development process. Responsibilities
Contribute to the ongoing development and upkeep of our design system
Provide product ownership and mentor a team of talented Frontend Engineers
Build and maintain crisp, consistent interfaces for our customers
Lead code reviews, pairing sessions, and architecture discussions
Responsibility for several large-scale ReactJS web applications
Work closely with our cross-functional teams consisting of designers, product managers, and QA in an agile, fast-paced environment
Implement and maintain features such as Chat interfaces and data visualisations
Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
Participate in interviews and hiring as we staff up our team
Job Requirement
Demonstrated ownership of the product and mentoring other Frontend Engineers
3 to 6 years of professional Javascript development experience
Experience in creating modern web UIs with React and Redux
Experience developing websites consuming various APIs from a microservice backend system
Experience writing testable code and maintaining test infrastructure
Exceptional coding, debugging, and architecting skills, with an eye for maintainability, reliability, and performance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TypeScript
Experience with WebSockets
Experience with Canvas, SVG, or animation
Experience in a high growth startup environment"
