We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about delivering innovative solutions aimed at providing a Device Independent experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of delivering and maintaining software infrastructure for web applications.Fusion Operations is a manufacturing execution system (MES), providing real-time data for production management. It enables users to monitor, track, report, and even control the various processes and systems used to manufacture goods, from raw material to shipping.ResponsibilitiesPlan production schedules to enhance the flexibility of job schedulingTrack inventory, monitor workers, and oversee machines to help optimize overall production efficiencyManage product quality through production traceability to align with industry standards and regulationsDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructureDesign and maintain automated deployment systemsDevelop automation scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance to improve system efficiencyBuild and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processesImplement monitoring solutions, diagnose performance issues, and resolve system outages to ensure high availabilityUse Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools to manage infrastructure efficientlyWork closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to align infrastructure strategies with business objectivesMaintain clear and concise technical documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing and process consistency across teamsStaying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in infrastructure engineering, continuously seeking opportunities for growth and improvementEnsure infrastructure security best practices, compliance with industry standards, and proactive threat mitigationLeverage cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3, SQS, OpenSearch and RDS, for scalable and reliable solutionsImplement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformTroubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environmentsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelinesParticipate in on-call rotation to support production systemsMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field6+ years of industry experience building and delivering robust, performant, and maintainable commercial applicationsExperience with DevOps tools like Jenkins and TerraformExperience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as S3, SQS, OpenSearch, and RDSProficiency in source control solutions like GitExpertise in script languages (Bash, Python, Powershell)Experience building infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormationExperience with build and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and knowledge of best practicesStrong understanding of security best practices and compliance standardsExperience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesAbility to produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate effectively with peers, partners, and customersFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum frameworkExperience with database technologies e.g. Aurora MySQLUnderstands the importance of providing reliable and scalable infrastructure to support the organization's applications and services, always considering the impact of infrastructure decisions on end-usersExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishPreferred QualificationsMaster's in computer scienceAWS certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plusExperience working with Spinnaker for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesDeep understanding and extensive experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform environments, including deployment, monitoring, and operations#LI-DP1Learn MoreAbout Autodesk
