Looking for a developer to build accessible UIs with HTML, CSS, and JS. Must enforce WCAG/ARIA/W3C standards, run audits, create inclusive components, and guide teams on a11y best practices.



Desired Candidate Profile



4-8 years front-end development with a strong accessibility focus

Expert in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and JavaScript; robust handling of focus, keyboard nav, forms, media, landmarks, and live regions

Hands-on with AT and tooling:

NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, Pa11y, color/contrast analyzers

Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, WAI-ARIA roles/states/properties, W3C specs, and common anti-patterns

Experience building accessible SPAs and SSR apps; dynamic content announcements and state management

Strong cross-browser/device debugging; performance, i18n/RTL, and responsive design considerations

One of Perl, Python, or PHP for backend validation/tooling (optional)
