Process Overview

The Shared Services Production Management (SSPM) team was established to provide a core set of services across the RCITT production application environment. These services are designed to increase overall production stability and provide consistent and efficient management of the SSPM-supported application portfolio.

Leveraging SSPM services will enable RCITT to improve production control of their application environments by separating development and production responsibilities. These SSPM services will strengthen the RCITT development team's focus on meeting business partner deliverables by minimizing production support related activities. Additionally, these SSPM services will facilitate engagement with ECT&O and improve RCITT compliance to enterprise standards.



This role will be part of the SSPM RCITT support team responsible for providing production support to the Treasury suite of applications.

In addition to business users, the successful candidate will be required to work closely with application development teams and other technology partners (DBAs, SAs, etc) across multiple regions to provide production support across a range of Treasury suite of applications. Typical activities include: understanding and responding to user requests, data investigations, application monitoring to assure system availability, production incident handling, trouble-shooting application performance issues, application environment/infrastructure management, capacity management, release process management and Batch monitoring.

An understanding of Banking concepts in Investment management and understanding trade life cycle would be a great advantage

Requirements

Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory

Experience Range: 2 -4 years

Foundational skills:

• Experience in application development and production support
• Experience in Java, Oracle and Unix
• Hands-on Java application support developer responsible for providing production and technical support.
• Experience and knowledge of ITSM processes, methodologies and tools
• ITIL knowledge

Desired skills:

• Experience in Excel
• Experience in VBA scripting

Work Timings: Rotational Shift (07:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m. / 11:30 a.m. to 08:30 p.m.)
