Ericsson Operations Manager Cloud Infrastructure [OMC] is Ericsson NFVI product-based offering that aims at simplifying NFVI solution operations in centralized & distributed deployments. OMC is a GUI based application provides an integrated platform for managing NFVI components in a geographically distributed cloud infrastructure, enables secure and hierarchical multi-tenancy for this cloud infrastructure. OMC product addresses NFVI Infrastructure FM, PM, Logging and Lifecycle Management requirements of Telco Operators.

What you will do

The job of the developer role includes development activities (requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, software design, integration, verification, automation of unit testcases, tools / simulators, Product Lifecycle Management support & product documentation). Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We prioritize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing will be part of the daily work.

You will bring

• Masters/bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (4+ years) in Computer Science or related field from Tier-1 institutions.
• 8+ years hands on experience in design and developing User Interface in product development environment
• Must have written code using Angular JS/TS, Node.js, Java/Python or Go.
• Experience working with Linux based Operating Systems and Rest APIs.
• Ability to drive feature/module through concept, design, architecture, development, automation and delivery. Also guide team members for the same.
• Well versed with virtualization concepts including virtual machine, Linux Containers, and hypervisors.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes in cloud infrastructure and basic knowledge of open stack.
• Good to have working knowledge of DBs which includes Elasticsearch(ELK), MinIO, MySQL, etc.
• Good understanding of docker, Kubernetes and micro services. Prior experience is preferred.
• Solid experience using Git, Gitlab, Gerrit and JIRA.
• Conduct design, architecture & feature review meeting with internal/external stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills and ability to understand and articulate complex ideas and concepts in both verbal and written form.
• Prior experience in telecom industry building management software such as NMS/EMS/OSS
• Good to have knowledge of Spinnaker, Airflow, Robot, Selenium and ReactJS
