Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining applications and services.
Support the existing applications and enhancements.
Taking lead in understanding applications FIX connectivity and support client sessions.
Taking part in code review of colleagues and maintain standards.
Design and implementation of APIs for aggregated/algorithmic trading platform. Assist in production support, release and checkouts.
Technical Skills
6+ Years of experience in Core Java, Strong Java 8 (or higher), Spring Boot Microservices leveraging Spring Boot
JMS, Messaging & Caching technologies (Preferred any one of Kafka/ActiveMQ/IBM MQ, Redis/Memcached)
Database Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL
Experienced in multi-threading, socket programming, concurrent and reactive programming
3+ Experience with FOREX trading applications including market data and trading flow.
3+ Experience with design and development of FOREX or EQUITY applications in Java in Linux environment
3+ Experienced with highly distributed solution design and support
3+ Experience with Financial protocols including FIX, FAST & SBE preferred.
Knowledge of TDD practices, understanding of code quality measurements and able to implement efficient Unit Tests
Well versed with using version control tools (e.g. Gitlab, SVN)
Understanding of CI & CD.
C++ coding knowledge along with Java is preferred
