Summary In this role you will be responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will also be responsible to lead design discussion and mentor other junior team members.

In this role, you will:

• Capture system level requirements by brainstorming with Architects & Sr. Architects, Program/Project Managers, Product Managers/Owners, Stakeholders
• Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimates and justify the estimate with facts.
• Lead in technical discussions; Lead in technical designs and present technical ideas through whiteboarding; Drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designs
• Maintain and drive code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation; Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project; Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules
• Be an expert in assessing NFRs (performance, load, scalability etc.) for the application and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices
• Develop expertise and own individual module design while also understanding the overall product
• Seek and provide feedback on design and development
• Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment
• Possess advanced domain knowledge and show great customer focus. Expert in processes / methodologies and Skilled in build, release & deployment processes
• Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Overall 6+ Years of strong experience in software development in Enterprise Application Development

Required Skills:

• Expert in Object Oriented Programming paradigm, C, C++ on Linux, Shell Scripting.
• Expert in OS -Operating systems concepts and command line interface for day-to-day use.
• Should have great debugging skills. Excellent knowledge of debugging tools to address performance and reliability bottlenecks.
• Experience in Agile development practices.

Desired Skills:

• Good problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
• Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems.
