Partner with the best Baker Hughes has a new opportunity for Senior Software Engineer to join the Engineering Digital Transformation team in Bangalore/Hyderabad, India As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be responsible for: Work towards strategic technical developments for Digital programs by working closely with peers and stakeholders across the different products, trains, sales/services, quality & operations teams. Work with senior leadership in scoping business requirements, recommending technology utilization, and proposing detailed solutions. The role will entail recommending development and production environments, technology stack utilization, product technology design and implementation strategies that will lead to robust, reusable, and scalable solutions. Actively interacts with end users to understand the used cases. Prepare technical documents and develop solutions for use cases working with senior program team members. Execute the development projects through seamless digital thread. Ensure timely and proactive stakeholder management and vendor SW development team coordination. Establish proof of concepts with AWS, PLM, React Framework, CI/CD, DevOps etc, on migration and reimagining a legacy system into a web solution. Apply the new age technologies like Data analytics, Data science, machine learning etc. and implement the solutions in IEP/concurrent engineering modules to provide insights to every user & enable lean excellence. Be responsible for technical developments and enhancements and maintenance of Engineering Tools. Be responsible as technical development member for global development projects and programs for design and adoption of MBSE model and platforms. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Bachelors/Masters\' Degree in Computer Science or another comparable technical field. Must have k nowledge on any of the computer programming skills ( preferred Java Full Stack/JAVA core/JAVA backend/frontend developers or Python developer or PL/SQL, AWS or Javascript etc ) Over all 5 to 7 years of work experience with minimum 3 years of experience in solutioning in digital/software products and/or project/team lead experience, including multi-discipline engineering or software development and/or cross-functional experience. Must have been part of atleast one E2E implementation project development team member for a complete platform solution implementation and migration. Good to have design process experience in the areas of turbo-machinery products/train sub-systems. Good to have of experience supporting or working on IT cloud solutions and platforms in some capacity. Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work. Good to have previously worked in some capacity on cloud migration and web solutioning of applications. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate technical and functional requirements to end users and development teams. Good to have knowledge of modular dockerization/containerization or working with Kubernetes. Good to have knowledge of Siemen\'s PLM systems and MBSE technologies and Siemen\'s development frameworks and modules for development, adoption, or use. Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud. Good to have hands on software development knowledge and technical programming knowledge.
