: Position Specific Responsibilities: Utilise advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and practices in programming technologies and platforms to achieve business outcomes, draw on core technology and domain knowledge to lead the design, enhancement and maintenance of a technology solution. : Apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation. Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision. Analyse business objectives and translate requirements to technical implementation components. Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements. Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features. Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team. Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices. Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform. Requirements: Software engineer in q+KDB with 6-9 years of experience Good understanding of Python, GCP, EmbedPY, NSCode, NLP, Programming languages: JIRA, Spicy, HTML/CSS Data engineer skillsets: GitHub, Data science and Geneos Worked on GCP, tick data, feed handlers, subscriptions to Pink sheet data for US markets.
