Job Overview:

We are looking for Full Stack Senior Software developers who can join in our exciting journey of building next generation features. In this role, you will be responsible for working in one of the product development teams developing innovative web and mobile based enterprise software solutions for the Express Yard program as part of Network & Logistics group in Digital Solutions business vertical within Wabtec India. Responsibilities include design & development, driving team deliverables, risk mitigation, leadership liaison & status reporting. You will act as a module lead and will be hands on design, development and maintenance of a component, feature and/or feature set. You will be collaborating with other product teams to enable product delivery & leveraging best practices and processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software using Scrum and Agile development methodologies, including daily standups and iteration planning meetings.
• Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
• Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members.
• Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
• Expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Drive code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation
• Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
• Promotes transparency by proactively sharing design choices with appropriate audiences, with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
• Demonstrates expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements and their priority within the backlog.
• Work as an individual contributor and closely collaborate with architect and technical leaders.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required, with 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Able to quickly iterate and refine planned features' backlog based on partner's needs.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and work you're doing
• Familiar with web-based systems and architecture across the full-stack, with specific expertise in at least back or front-end development, databases & DevOps.
• Experience maintaining and scaling high-volume software systems in an Agile environment
• Ability to understand the needs & challenges of different businesses and industries to build solutions to tackle for them at scale.
• Expertise in building large-scale systems using fault tolerant technologies (such as C#, MVC Asp.net, Web API, WCF, Web Service, Dot net core, NUnit, GitLab).
• Experienced on developing, deploying, and managing - microservices on cloud platform.
• Working experience on SQL DB (PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.) and No SQL (Mongo etc.)
• Client-side web application development experience using Angular, React, JavaScript, jQuery, and/or other comparable technologies.
• Able to define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for a Release to ensure the system or Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose.
• Experience with deployment, continuous delivery, infrastructure management, software quality assurance (documentation, unit testing, test automation, security analysis, and code reviews).
• Experience with developing reporting interfaces, data feeds, and/or data visualizations for business & partner consumption.
• General understanding of enterprise commerce, sales, software licensing and some exposure/additional knowledge in Java or other technologies are a plus.
• Preference for experience with Rail domain and/or embedded software/ industrial communication.
