Within Actimize, the AI and Analytics Team is developing the next generation advanced analytical cloud platform that will harness the power of data to provide maximum accuracy for our clients' Financial Crime programs. As part of the PaaS/SaaS development group, you will be responsible for developing this platform for Actimize cloud-based solutions and to work with cutting edge cloud technologies.

This new SaaS platform will enable our customers (some of the biggest financial institutes around the world) to create solutions on the platform to fight financial crime.
Have you got what it takes?

• Working with architects, engineers, Product Managers, and third-party vendors to understand high level design, cross-interface impact, architectural and non-functional features addressing the customer requirements
• Develop high quality, proficient and enterprise grade products
• Work as part of the development team towards the application in a committed deadline
• Participate in the design and implementation. Pitch ideas & innovate continuously, take team & project to next level.
• Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools.
• Ensuring that the automation framework uses best of breed technology including open-source tools
• Implement/Improve system monitoring, alerting & observability.
• Build & maintain highly available systems on AWS
• Creates the infrastructure through automation for hosting the services on AWS
• Review the code and guide the team to translate complex business requirements into technical artefacts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/relevant course
• 4-6 years of experience working in software Industry as a software engineer (part of SW development team and not support team)
• Development experience using Python as a full stack developer.
• Experience with implementation of Data structure and algorithms
• In depth and hands-on experience working with AWS
• Experience working in and driving Continuous Integration and Delivery practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Artifactory
• Must have created and deployed micro services on a cloud ecosystem from scratch
• Must have experience in creating UI/Frontend components either using Angular/React

Must have Skills:

• Good understanding of software development best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architectures
• Experience in creating cloud native API and microservices on AWS preferably using API Gateway
• Must have experience in creating UI/front end components
• Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
• Experience working on a Scrum Team in an Agile delivery environment.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting and bug fixing skills.
• Candidate must have displayed proactiveness and ownership.
• Must have delivered the applications which are performant, resilient and efficient from cost and operations perspective
• Good understanding of Cloud Security & Cloud Costing
• Prior experience with SaaS, PaaS and IaC development is preferred.

• Cloud: AWS Compute, Storages and Services to host APIs, API Gateway & Lambda
• Frontend: Angular, React
• Infra automation Tools: Terraform / Cloud formation.
• CI CD: Jenkins
• Version Control Systems: Git Hub
• Basic Networking: VPCs, Load Balancers, DNS
• Containers: Docker, ECS/EKS on AWS
• Operating System: Linux and Windows

Nice to have:

• Programming Language: Java, Scala, JavaScript
• Container: K8s, Helm
• Experience: MLOps Engineering Experience
