Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Location: Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore, Gurgaon/Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai, Hydrabad Budget: upto INR 22 LPA Highlight- should be excellent in C# coding with exp into testing frameworks. SDET : Good at Coding (C#/Java is preferable with OOPS, Collections Framework etc.), Automation Framework understanding (BDD/TDD/Hybrid) , GIT commands used, Selenium concepts, API testing using tools like Postman/Swagger(automation is an add-on) , basic SQL testing using Joins for 2 or more tables, Agile Methodology, and other related testing concepts with good communication skills. Sr SDET/ Lead SDET Skillset: 10 plus years in IT with 6+ plus years in Automation (includes script development and troubleshooting). Good understanding of Design Patterns like Singleton, SOLID Principles along with POM . Experience in Core Framework design and development from scratch (at least in one or two projects) . Should be able to handle code reviews for the team and help the other team on technical aspects. Good Coding skills which include understanding/experience on Basic Programming Concepts (Access Modifiers/loops/conditions, methods, arrays, exception handling),OOPS concepts, Collection Frameworks (advanced like Array list, Hashmap, Hashset, Dictionary etc.,) Script synchronization techniques (like waits to ensure less scripts failures), Locators (basically id, name anyone can use but expectation is to create Xpaths using sibling concepts, dynamic texts based Xpaths, CSS selectors etc.,). Version Control System like Git is used by client and the candidate should have good understanding of the commands , if there is a situation where they need to work through cmd (instead of the features provided in Visual Studio or Eclipse) and Conflict management in case of code check-in. For API testing when manual is considered , the client uses Postman(validation of endpoint URL\'s) and Swagger( Documentation/ reference) tool where in the candidate should be aware of different Authorization Techniques, HTTP methods(CRUD) and Status codes based on the method/ in case of errors for both client/servers. API Automation is again a different case where RestSharp along with BDD Specflow is used and it is good to have . Db testing is writing simple queries (with joins) based on project needs to join 3 or more tables and extract data to validate. Good communication skills(both written/oral) are mandatory for them to handle the calls/questions from client independently.
