Role Overview

As a

Senior Software Engineer

, you will play a key role in shaping our technology ecosystem. You'll be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing

robust, scalable, and high-performance systems

that directly impact learners and educators. Your technical expertise and leadership will help drive innovation, ensure reliability, and foster a culture of excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural decisions and establish best engineering practices. Design and build scalable, reliable, and secure software systems. Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code. Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting continuous improvement. Troubleshoot and optimize system performance. Manage production deployments, monitoring, and incident resolution. Drive initiatives for system reliability and preventive maintenance. Ensure a seamless user experience through collaboration with support teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in

JavaScript/TypeScript

and/or

Go (Golang)

. In-depth understanding of

software design patterns

and

architectural principles

. Experience with

cloud platforms

such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Proficient in

SQL/NoSQL databases

and data modeling. Excellent

problem-solving, debugging, and optimization

skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Passion for technology and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Familiarity with

React

,

Next.js

, or other modern frontend frameworks. Exposure to

DevOps

practices -- CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes. Experience in delivering end-to-end product features. Interest in building intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
