Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Education Projects Division for the development, maintenance, and training support of CollabCAD, CollabGEO, and related applications. This role involves

hands-on 3D CAD modelling, software development, web application support, documentation, and training

for teachers and students.

You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure these nationally important applications remain up-to-date, secure, and user-friendly for the school education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development & Maintenance

Enhance and maintain CollabCAD desktop application and CollabCAD Portal (3D model viewer). Support development and integration of CollabGEO (2D Geometry tool) on DIKSHA platform. Implement upgrades to ensure optimal performance, compatibility, and security compliance.

3D CAD Modelling

Design and model 3D parts and assemblies to test and validate application features. Ensure accuracy with respect to engineering graphics and geometry concepts.

Web Development

Develop and maintain front-end and back-end features using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, NodeJS, and three.js.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Conduct functional and security testing to ensure application reliability.

Documentation & Training

Prepare user guides, technical documentation, and training materials. Conduct training sessions and workshops for teachers and students on CollabCAD and CollabGEO.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of

engineering graphics and geometry concepts

.

Hands-on experience

in 3D CAD modelling, part design, and assembly modelling. Proficiency in

Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, NodeJS, and three.js

. Experience with open-source libraries and tools for 3D visualization. Familiarity with security audits and performance optimization.

Professional Skills:

Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and training. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
