Role Overview
The Senior Social Media Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing social media strategies across multiple platforms. The role requires strong content understanding, platform expertise, analytical thinking, and experience in handling professional, institutional, and government-aligned digital communication.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand and campaign objectives
Manage and monitor official social media handles (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
Plan content calendars, campaigns, and platform-specific creatives
Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and content teams for high-quality output
Write and review captions, posts, hashtags, and short content in English & Hindi
Monitor engagement, comments, messages, and ensure timely responses
Track performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly social media reports
Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
Handle social media communication for government/PSU projects where required
Ensure brand tone, compliance, and content accuracy at all times
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms
Excellent written communication skills (English & Hindi)
Experience with social media management and analytics tools
Ability to plan campaigns and analyze performance data
Creative thinking with a strategic approach
Strong coordination and time-management skills
Experience in media agencies, government communication, or institutional projects will be an added advantage
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum
5 years of relevant experience
in social media management
Graduate/Post Graduate in
Mass Communication / Journalism / Media Studies
Prior experience in handling multiple brands or institutional accounts preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?38,000.00 per month
