The information & Digital Services and Operations (IDSO) core purpose is to Maintain Secure and Reliable IT Operations for Shell. IDSO provides an extensive global portfolio of IT services to Shell with an annual spend of approximately USD 2B delivered by an organization of over 2000 staff and contractors. As our Shell businesses drive value from Data & Digitalization, our IT Services and Operations need to be ahead of the curve in providing the foundational IT services and tools that enable our business to get value from their data and digital opportunities. Additionally, we need to move towards providing a great IT User Experience for our Shell user community in keeping with their consumer user experience outside of Shell. Where you fit As the IT Operations Lead of Shell, you will join our amazing Information & Digital Services and Operations (IDSO) team who provides an extensive global portfolio of IT services to Shell. Here, you will feel accountable for ensuring all activities are executed in alignment with Shell standards and proactively manage and mitigate security risks. Also, you will contribute to the Agile environment by thinking out of the box and continuously wanting to structurally improve the ways of working, the technical stability of the landscape and the speed in which changes are delivered, and by continually growing into a more and more self-organizing team with the rest of the team members. This position requires a strong self-starter who can proactively engage with team members in the virtual DevOps teams, HR Services teams, Legacy Systems, Interface, infrastructure and monitoring teams and Component Landscape Managers. Hence, you will have a proficient level of interpersonal skills, such as challenging and analytical/problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex data and technical issues in the landscape including Workday, integrations and legacy and integrated systems. What\'s the role As the IT Operation Lead for Workday, you will be one of the DevOps team members in the Workday Talent, Recruitment and Performance modules, particularly for the development and sustainment of the application landscape. Also, as a day-to-day service integrator in the IDSO organization, supporting Delivery Management to provide efficient and effective services, as well as ensure that application landscapes remain compliant. Your scope of responsibilities will be wide-ranging which includes: Ensuring that the end-to-end landscape remains available, reliable, secure, and compliant. Safeguarding availability, reliability, and consistency of data throughout all integrated applications in the landscape. Owning and coordinating support tickets, incident, and problem resolutions as a second/third-line support engineer. Managing relationships with third-party teams and vendors. Actively contributes to the safe Agile \'One Team - One Goal\', \'Self-Organizing\' and \'Continuous Improvement\' environment. Prepare vendor releases for stakeholders and switch on functionality when approved and assigned in the sprint backlog. Coordinate with various stakeholders, suppliers, and managed services cutting across the HR IT Talent & Recruitment Ecosystem. Monitor end-to-end Workday landscape and pro-actively fix trends either by configuration changes in Workday or working with other systems support teams Translate business requirements/user stories into solutions. Design E2E solutions covering legal, security, DP, and S&T requirements. Delivery of committed complex configuration change requests in Workday through sprints. Design, implement & maintain automated deployment processes where possible Help design end-to-end landscape testing and regression test cases based on technical and business process knowledge. Maintaining a close partnership with Workday on feature requests, upgrade planning and product roadmap alignment. Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal relationships, and negotiation skills to work with multiple stakeholders across organizational and business boundaries at all levels. You define risks and mitigations for designed solutions and manage these proactively. You will work with the Scrum Master of your team, the overall Chief Scrum Master, The Technical Lead, the Product Owners, HR DevOps Analysts in your team, HR Services Support teams, Testers, Test Manager, IRM, IT Architects, OLM, Shell People and Interface Support team, another legacy / on-premise support teams, and HR Transformation Program resources. What we need from you Graduate of any bachelor\'s degree With a minimum of 9 years of work experience and 2-3 years minimum of extensive technical knowledge & configuration skills in Workday Knowledgeable in ATS, Taleo, Kenexa Brassring, Success Factor Preferably holds Workday Certificate Must be skilled in the business processes covered by Workday so that you understand the impact of incidents on the employee, line manager and Shell, and be able to translate business requirements into system solutions.
