We define KPIs, improve monitoring, and resolve complex issues.Partner with the bestAs a Senior SRE, you'll enhance Akamai's Mapping service by improving performance, availability, and reliability. You'll define KPIs, refine monitoring, and resolve complex issues.As a Site Reliability Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Defining, managing, and analyzing SLIs and SLOs to measure system performance and availability effectively.
• Leveraging data analysis and statistical methods to identify performance trends, detect anomalies, and drive proactive optimizations.
• Designing and implementing automation frameworks to automate tasks to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Implementing and optimize monitoring, alerting, and logging tools to mitigate issues proactively and recommend improvements.
• Partnering with internal teams to diagnose and resolve incidents to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborating with product engineering teams to promote and implement system design teams to build scalable, resilient systems.

Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Have 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or related roles with a data-driven approach.
• Be expertise in SQL and statistical analysis for performance optimization.
• Have a proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Be knowledgeable in networking, Linux, distributed systems, and design.
• Have experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
