Position Summary- The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a crucial role in our team, requiring significant technical expertise, empathy, and excellent customer-facing skills.This role involves maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of our systems while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. We\'re looking for someone who can: Strong Linux expertise (5-7 years hands-on experience). Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes (3-7 years hands-on skills). AWS knowledge, especially in Storage, Security, EKS, and networking (3-7 years hands-on experience). Proficiency in database management, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL (3-5 years hands-on experience). Familiarity with operating system deployments, including Yum and other installation utilities (3-5 years hands-on experience). Preferred certification as a Kubernetes Admin. Strong technical support background, preferably in an Enterprise Software Company. A customer-centric attitude with a dedication to the \'Customer comes First\' philosophy. Effective communication skills, enabling the explanation of technical concepts to a broader audience. Proficiency in project management, including task documentation and summaries for executives. You hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or possess equivalent experience; a Master\'s degree is a valuable asset. You boast a minimum of 2+ years of experience with at least one of the leading cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP, and have demonstrated expertise in managing and supporting cloud infrastructures on these platforms. Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker is a prerequisite. Good to have: Proficiency in Linux, NFS, and Windows, including skills in application installation, scripting, and fundamental command-line tasks. Demonstrated experience with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, and Python. Familiarity with concepts related to application, server, and network security management. Possession of certifications from leading Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and expertise in Kubernetes would be significant advantages.
