The Site Project Manager will lead and oversee end-to-end execution of luxury retail projects and new store expansions across India, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and adherence to brand standards and planned payback timelines
Responsibilities: o
Lead and deliver luxury retail projects from concept to handover across multiple locations.
Manage and guide Project Managers and junior team members.
Oversee suppliers, designers, vendors, and fit-out contractors to ensure quality and timelines.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet store opening and renovation schedules.
Manage tenders, drawings, BOQs, estimates, and contracts.
Resolve site-related issues, risks, and dependencies proactively.
Identify and evaluate new store locations across target markets.
Drive the complete store opening cycle including approvals, lease coordination, design finalisation, and fit-outs.
Ensure store openings are delivered within approved budgets and planned payback periods.
Coordinate with landlords, mall authorities, and local bodies for statutory and operational approvals.
Monitor CAPEX and ensure cost optimisation without compromising brand standards.
Ensure statutory, safety, and compliance readiness prior to store launch.
Oversee maintenance, repairs, and snag resolution across existing stores.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely closure of repair and maintenance issues.
Ensure minimal disruption to store operations during repairs or refurbishment activities.
Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs for ongoing store upkeep.
Conduct periodic store audits to proactively identify and address infrastructure and safety issues.
Candidate Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
o 10+ years' experience in retail fit-out and a total of 8-10 years of experience in architecture/interior designing and site supervision.
Must have a Bachelor's degree (preferably architecture/interior designing/ any engineering major) from an accredited university
Knowledge of, and/or previous experience with, local relevant processes and procedures (landlords, municipalities, food control, drainage, etc.)
Membership of a professional body.
Must be able to multitask well and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
